Built For…

Preparing professionals to meet the moment
Strengthening systems. Supporting professionals. Powering communities.
Preparing workforce-ready professionals is central to our mission.
This year, we expanded our commitment to supporting the full spectrum of Kentucky’s social work and criminal justice workforce — from students entering the field to seasoned practitioners advancing their skills.
Through immersive practicum education, applied learning, professional development programs, and community partnerships, we equipped thousands of Kentuckians with tools to lead, adapt, and serve.
Because when the workforce grows stronger, Kentucky grows stronger.
Preparing Emerging Professional
For Emma Noffsinger (MSW ’25, BASW ’23), a practicum with the Nicholasville Police Department demonstrated how social workers and justice professionals can collaborate to improve community outcomes.
“It’s not always punishment. It’s also support.”

Building Partnerships That Strengthen Kentucky
Impact happens when institutions and communities work together. This year, the College expanded partnerships that directly improved wellbeing across Kentucky.
